You are a person who has no recollection of who you are. All you know is that you are trapped in a lab and you need to escape.
Obviously when I think of a lab I think of a companion cube from Portal. I had never worked with physics in the engine, but I'm very happy the way it turned out.
I've touched on materials before, and it was rather easy when it's super simple things. The one thing that I really fell in love with was the glowing effect you can give to a material to really make something pop out more.
In this project I was tasked to making two collectibles and a required objective. One of the collectibles was collecting "Test Tubes" that were hidden all round the lab.
I never touched or created a widget ever but I loved every second of it. This was another required task. I had to make an "End" widget and show off how many collectibles were collected in a playthrough.
